ABSTRACT
Cyber-physical systems (CPSs) represent an important step on the path to truly smart living environments, efcient automation of industrial processes, and optimization of control in numerous other elds-including medicine, trafc, emergency response, and urban living. Based on merging of digital computation resources with the physical objects, a CPS represents a novel paradigm that aims not merely to be able to gather information about the state of the physical world but also to inuence it based on the gathered data.
