ABSTRACT
Government organizations across the world and at every level depend heavily on information technology (IT) to achieve their mission and protect and serve their citizens and stakeholders. However, the use of information technology by government organizations represents a huge risk in the face of countless vulnerabilities in such IT systems (which represent potential attack vectors) and the existence of a myriad of threat agents with a high degree of motivation to compromise these systems.
