Our research shows an alternative, ecologically secure method of garlic plants enrichment of garlic plants by selenium, based on the application of natural growth stimulators in their cultivation. In the present study we used hydrogen sulfide mineral water from mountain springs and zeolite-containing clay dialbeculit. Other presently applied methods of garlic cultivation present a certain danger because the microelements inputted pollute the environment. In these conditions plants accumulate not more than 10% of applied dose. In the paper the peculiarities of garlic cultivation in the mountain and foothill conditions of North Ossetia and its useful properties are described as well.
