The results of studies of the cultivated residual-carbonate soddy small podzolic soil of the subtaiga area of the Tyumen region by morphological features, physical properties and content of chemical elements. There is determined the positive effect of physiologically active compounds on the chemical composition of spring wheat plants. There are identified the peculiarities of distribution of chemical elements in the vegetative organs of plants and grain. There is noted the positive correlation between the content of Cu, Mn, Pb, Sr and pigments in leaves of plants. There are established essential differences between the varieties of wheat at the rate of biological uptake of elements from the soil.
