ABSTRACT
Due to the rapid changes affecting work situations, it has become obvious that from now on, no one will be able to keep the same profession for his or her entire life, or the same profession with the same work methods and techniques. Consequently, an ever-increasing number of employees will be forced to go into training at some point in their career, perhaps even several times. Because the average age of the working population continues to rise, older workers, too, will be unable to escape training.
