ABSTRACT
According to most astronomers, everything - space, time, matter - came into existence at one moment, between 15,000 million and 20,000 million years ago (perhaps slightly earlier). If we can agree about this, we can work out a complete sequence, ending up with you and me. But we have to start somewhere .
