ABSTRACT
Xe-I2, Kr-12 mixture barrier discharge lamps are considered to be the effective light sources in the UV region. Their emission efficiency, as it was shown both in experiments [1] and numerical calculations [2], can reaches values up to 20%. In addition , their the most intensive emission is located in the region of mercury lamps spectra (n=253 nm ,185 nm) that could allow to replace some mercury light sources by means of ecologically pure ones.
