ABSTRACT

In the present work the modelling of the shift and splitting of the energy levels in the circular polarised alternating electric field is carried out for Ar atom. Moreover, calculations of the transition probabilities needed for obtaining of the spectral lines intensities and lifetimes were also carried out. Both modelling of the dynamic Stark effect and calculations of the transition probabilities have been done in the framework of a new theoretical approach, suggested in [1]. The circular polarized alternating electric field is observed in the number of a discharge sources, in particular, in a high-frequency electrodeless lamps. Consequently, it is interesting to have a sufficiently simple and reliable theoretical method for modelling of the Stark effect observed in such discharge sources.
