E-zines, or electronic magazines, are increasingly popular Internet resources. They range from amateur to professional productions, with subject offerings from pop culture to scholarly pursuits. In some cases a publication may exist in digital format only. Others may be electronic versions of print magazines. Often they are free, supported by advertising, although some charge for subscriptions.
