ABSTRACT
Molecular orientation and crystallinity are of course not the same thing, but the effect they have on the way a polymer performs is often difficult to distinguish. So it is important to identify the degree of molecular orientation as well as the degree of crystallinity, as this provides useful information in relation to a number of performance and process parameters, such as tensile modulus, elasticity, moisture relations, and dye uptake.
