ABSTRACT
Degradation of polymeric materials by the environment is due to a complex interaction of the effects of all weather factors, including solar radiation, moisture, heat, atmospheric pollutants, and others. However, the radiation of the sun, particularly the ultraviolet (UV) portion, is mainly responsible for limiting the lifetime of materials exposed to the environment.
