ABSTRACT
M ultiblock copoly(ether-fr-ester)s as thermoplastic elastomers (PEE) are based on semicrystalline poly(butylene terephthalate) blocks (PBT) and amorphous non crystalline oxytetramethylene blocks (PTMO). The domains o f the crystalline hard segments are interconnected by the soft matrix segments (1). The crystalline phase has the same structure as the a-form o f poly(butylene terephthalate), whereas the amorphous phase is a mixture o f the uncrystallized ester segments and the ether segments (2).
