ABSTRACT

Almost all control systems share a common configuration of basic components. A closed-loop single input-single output (SISO) system, as shown in Figure 1, is an example of the basic components commonly required when designing control systems. This may be modified to include items like disturbance inputs, external inputs (i.e., wind, load, supply pressure), and intermediate physical system variables.
