ABSTRACT

The number of test specimens included 9 for T-joints of the rectangular hollow section y-truss (A-TYPE) and 2 for T-joints of the conventional type joint (B-TYPE) prepared for carp3rison purposes. The geometry and dimensions of the specimen are shown in Fig.1 and Table 1. The combination of parameters of specimens are shown in Fig.2. In this figure, the region of failure for conventional type joints of rectangular hollow section given l:¥ TABtOU is shown.
