ABSTRACT
Research on shotcrete has generally been carried out to find quick answers to specific problems. Very few studies have been in order to generate a fundamental understanding of the shooting process. As a result, we know how to apply thick coats of material efficiently, but there is still no clear answer as to why the shotcrete remains in place after shooting.
