ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT. This vertical perforated uniform distributed different distribution of perforations under S.W.L - are used to clarify and determine the effectiveness of using this type of distributions on the performance of the breakwater Three perforations ratios are used in this work (20%,25%, and 30%). From the experimental work analysis it shown that, the distribution pattern of perforations below S.W.L is shown to have a significant effect on both transmission and reflection coefficients then, to have certain wave transmission or reflection it is not necessary to have the whole wall with the same perforation but, it is possible to use a certain perforation ratio above S.W.L and another under S.W.L with a certain distribution of these perforations.
