ABSTRACT

Abstract The paper advocates the concept o f a slump value adjusted for the effects o f time and temperature so as to more faithfully represent water content variations. The concept employs Arrhenius Equivalent Age and Popovics i value for rate o f slump loss. It is shown to be simple to derive the necessary constants, and to obtain the proposed Equivalent Slump, using a computer spreadsheet Keywords: slump, temperature, time, computer, water requirement.
