ABSTRACT
For a three-dimensional moving medium, this approach requires numerical calculation of PI and has been carried out in only a few papers. Numerical calculations of the sound field emitted by a point source located on the axis of a jet stream have been performed (242, 243]. The algorithm for calculating the intensity h of the sound field emitted by a point source in a three-dimensional moving medium has been developed [259]. (Note that h is not calculated in this paper.) For a two-dimensional moving medium, PI has been calculated using this approach [141].
