ABSTRACT

In this subsection, we present equations for (X 2), (¢2), Bx, Br/>' (p) and r for spherical wave propagation in a moving medium with locally (statistically) homogeneous and isotropic turbulence.

These equations differ only by a sign in the square brackets in the integrands. The equations for the correlation functions of the log-amplitude and phase

fluctuations of a spherical wave in a motionless random medium, obtained by the Rytov method and Markov approximation, are also presented in [121] and contain <1>,,(0, K). Replacing <1>,,(0, K) in these equations by <l>eff(O, K) yields equations for Bx and Br/> for a spherical wave propagating in a moving random medium:

The equations for B x and B", also differ only by a sign in the square brackets in the integrands. Of course, the relationships (7.56), obtained for plane wave propagation, are also valid for the case of spherical wave propagation in a moving random medium.
