ABSTRACT
The CEPRATE® SC Stem Cell Concentration System has been used to treat more than 5000 patients in over 200 transplant centers worldwide in a variety of clinical settings. These include autologous and allogeneic bone marrow and PBPC transplantations after high-dose chemotherapy, ex vivo expansion of purified progenitor cells, and gene therapy. Some of our experiences using this system for the enrichment of CD34+ stem and progenitor cells for these different applications are summarized in the following sections.
