ABSTRACT

There is no doubt that the Internet has pro-foundly affected peoples’ lives and the way they conduct business. But what has been seen so far is just the beginning. Tim Berners-Lee, founder of the World Wide Web and currently head of the World Wide Web Consortium (www.w3c.org), says that the Internet will really come into its own when machines are able to talk to each other, something that he calls the Semantic Web.
