In each diagram a norm of the solution is plotted vertically as a function of Jl· The transition from diagram (a) to (b) occurs when Ac = 0, from (b) to (c) when Ac +Ax= 0, from (c) to (d) when Ac-Ax= 0, and from (d) to (e) when Ac = 0.
