ABSTRACT
I. INTRODUCTION A wide variety of designs of highly functional membranes have been proposed. One of the most promising ways may be the functional integration of biomole cules and synthetic molecules. Membrane-bound enzymes and antibodies, for instance, have been endowed with biocatalytic and bioaffinity functions [1], Synthetic molecules may, however, provide simply the function for supporting biomolecules such as enzymes and antibodies.
