ABSTRACT
Considering the diversity of climate in different part of the world, some areas have relative advantage for production of specific crops. The special geographical characteristics that govern southern and central parts of Khorasan, Iran, such as desertification, poor water quality, water shortage, soil fertility and traditional methods of agricultural production are some of the limiting factors for growth of agricultural crops in these areas.
