ABSTRACT
In practice, this goal is achieved by reviewing the best-available information about the behavior of the target and using that information to arrive at a conclusion about that individual’s motivations. is methodology includes a technique called indirect personality assessment (IPA). IPA and criminal investigative analysis and/or crime scene assessment have been used by the FBI since 1975 to assist law enforcement and intelligence agencies. e techniques that are used are based on research and experience in the eld of forensic behavioral sciences.
