ABSTRACT
Effective processes are the end result of supply chain design. These grow out of activity system design. Improving performance objectives can only be accomplished by changing underlying processes, a fact that's not always appreciated. The entry provides an introduction to the Supply Chain Council's SCOR‐model and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professional's (CSCMP) Process Standards. The important enable functions are listed in the entry. When these are missing, progress will be slow.
