ABSTRACT
Modernization of the supply chain will be taking advantage of integrating networked enterprises through linking ERP systems. Significant savings in inventory management, synchronized planning, and fulfillment are feasible. Other examples of technology include radio frequency identification (RFID), business intelligence extranets, and “personalization” technologies like email and voice messaging.
