ABSTRACT

There are several general algebraic theories in which the theory of lattice ordered groups (/-groups) plays an important role. (For necessary notions and results concerning /-groups see e.g. [9] or [12].) The theory of dually residuated lattice ordered monoids (£>Ä/-monoids) is one of such cases. The notion of a DRl-monoid has been introduced by K. L. N. Swamy [26] as a common generalization of Brouwerian algebras and abelian /-groups.
