ABSTRACT

Historical buildings constitute an important part of our cultural heritage and therefore it is of great interest to measure their status, an effort which may be both time-consuming and difficult using traditional methods. Thus, there is a motivation to do these analyses with a remote-sensing system for a faster and non-destructive measurement. In the present paper we report on the possibilities for performing these kinds of measurements using the existing mobile lidar system of the Lund Institute of Technology.
