ABSTRACT
Cellular polymeric materials (CPM) are notable for their unique combination of technically valuable properties. With relatively low weight they have high strength and are characterized by thermal insulating or sound absorbing properties. Floatation, filtration capacity or selective permeability and the ability to resist considerable temperature changes are some of other interesting characterics of CPM.
