ABSTRACT
A special session, "New Developments in Free Radical Polymerization", was held at the fall meeting of the Society of Polymer Science, Japan, in 1998. Papers dealing with free-radical polymerization were also presented at the poster session for "Polymer Synthesis". This article reviews selected topics presented at the two sessions.
