ABSTRACT
Solid damping effects are readily included by using complex elasticity constants when generating the solid element stiffness matrices. One would expect that the same technique could be applied to the fluid elements thus accounting for internal fluid viscosity by the use of a complex bulk modulus. This possibility has not been investigated by the authors.
