ABSTRACT
The channel sections can have different shapes. They can be e.g. rectangular, circular, egg or mouth shaped. The necessary terms for Saint-Venant equations ~(A) and U(A) and their derivatives ( necessary for the solution methods ) can be calculated in a direct or iterative way (e.g. h from A(h) if the section is circular).
