ABSTRACT

This results in the following algorithm : A. Minimal / Maximal flow : By two runs the minimal reap. maximal possible flow to the purification plant Is calculated resp. choosing the minimal and· maximal possible openings of the valves (with regard to the minimal possible overfall ). B. Control run : Beginning with the desired flow at the purification plant a calculation back to the retention reservoirs determines their discharge. The openings of the valves can be computed consequently. The decision of how to divide flow at intersection points can be made with the help of a ( weather) prediction ( upper and lower bounds are known from A. ) .
