ABSTRACT
The post failure behavior of concrete is governed by the stress-crack-width-relation (σ-w-relation). Up to now the shape of the σ-w-relation is determined by experiments only. A simple mechanic model is presented to find the σ-w-relation analyzing the aggregate grading curve of the concrete.
