ABSTRACT
One of the main issues that needs to be considered when analyzing warning systems is the question of what the warning indicates and what it should indicate. Warning systems can be seen as devices that provide the user with information on the state of the system. The warning is then an information source that helps the user maintain situational awareness and follow changes in the system. With such a warning system, the user is not necessarily expected to take a specific action when a warning is given.
