ABSTRACT
Differential equation (2.5-3), with more general conditions on P, plays a key role in the Open Door Lemma. Before considering the lemma we need to first introduce the following open door mapping, a special mapping from U onto a slit domain. The reason for the title of th~s mapping and the lemma will become apparent in the remarks following the lemma.
