ABSTRACT

A digital processor operates wi th only one o f the above-discrete value, discrete time-although by using fast processing, real values and suitable interface de vices, a reasonable approximation o f the other data types can be obtained. How ever, it is important to realize that wi th in the computer, processing is performed on discrete value, discrete time quantities and thus processing o f all other types o f data involves approximations.
