ABSTRACT
This chapter covers one of the common foodborne diseases associated with consumption of fish from coral reefs and the near-shore environment of the oceans in the tropics and in some instances the semitropics to depths down to 60 m. The region is circumglobal between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn.
