ABSTRACT
TheRAhasonlyrarelybeenusedforassessingtheclinicalsignificanceofantibodies,usually inpatientswithAIHA.Thiswasprobablyduetothetechnicaldisadvantagesmentionedabove andtothefactthatthetestonlyreflectstheadherenceofRBCstomonocytes,whereasfor RBCdestruction,invivophagocytosispresumablyplaysthemoreimportantrole.
