The textile and clothing industry forms an essential part of manufacturing, employment, and trade in developing countries with opportunities for export orientation and industrialization. This industry is a suitable workable tool for growth and economic development in many poor and developing countries to move them to a higher economic category of middle income countries like Vietnam and Mauritius. This industry has contributed to capital expenditure, exports, employment, and ber consumption. Capital expansion, modernization, and automation have increased productivity while international trade and exports showed substantial improvement (Geref 2002).
