ABSTRACT

In Game 5 of the 2014 National Basketball Association (NBA) Finals, San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker missed his first 10 shots and then made his next 7. With a career field goal shooting percentage of just under 50%, Parker’s making 7 out of 17 shots would not have been a surprise, but to do so in the sequence of missing 10 in a row and then making 7 in a row immediately raised the question of streak shooting.
