ABSTRACT
Due to unavailability of fossil fuel in coming future, renewable energy are proposed as novel alternative. Out of all proposed renewable resources solar energy is accepted as a novel alternative. In this platform we provide the suitability and applicability of solid biopolymer electrolyte in dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) area. Due to wide applicability of biopolymer electrolyte, it is not possible to cover all relevant topics in present chapter. However, we have taken an attempt to provide the current upto date scenario of DSSC using Biopolymer electrolyte.
