ABSTRACT
Consumption of natural gas in the world shows a steady upward trend. In the last ten years (20052014) the average annual growth was 2.3%, which resulted in an increase in annual consumption of natural gas by 617 billion cubic meters. The only region which consumes less natural gas than ten years ago is the European Union.
