ABSTRACT

As for the majority of chapters in this book, what follows is based on the pro­ ceedings of a workshop undertaken at the 2002 UKCEA conference. The differ­ ence here though is that we shall be examining both content and process, as this chapter takes us in two directions at the same time being both an explora­ tion of the new GP retainer scheme and an exposition of the organisational tool of appreciative inquiry.
