ABSTRACT
One of the greatest challenges that we face in agriculture is how to intensify agricultural productivity while at the same time enhance ecosystem services. Intensifying production while enhancing ecosystem services such as water quality, plant and animal diversity, pollinator habitat, etc., may at first glance appear to be two diametrically opposed concepts. Is it possible, through innovative research, to consider this goal to be achievable?
