ABSTRACT
Detailed assessment will not be stayed pending an appeal, unless the court so orders (r 47.2). The party who is appealing should apply either to the court whose decision is being appealed or to the court which is hearing the appeal for an order staying the detailed assessment until after the hearing of the appeal (PD 47, para 29).
