ABSTRACT

How does one measure the achievements of the service, both internally and externally? Looking inward, it has well-organised office systems and clearly defined employment practices. It has consistently worked to its business plan. There is a clear organisational structure for policy and decision-making and good processes for consultation and implementation. Significantly people have shown they are capable of recognising, acknowledging and managing their own conflicts within the organisation – aiming to practise what they preach.
