ABSTRACT
Even in some seemingly hopeless situations, mediation may help to improve the situation. This case study describes a dispute involving children who were out of control and harassing neighbours in all sorts of ways, and which was resolved through mediation. It also illustrates the effective contribution of an observer present at the mediation.
