Arbitration

Arbitration is a method of private dispute resolution which arises from the agreement of the parties in dispute. Arbitration is conducted in a judicial manner and the decision of the arbitral tribunal is binding upon the parties and is recognised and enforced by courts. In arbitration, the parties are the sole source of the arbitral tribunal’s power and they have much more control of the arbitral process than litigants have of judicial proceedings in the courts.
